Real estate in Turkey: the main news of the past week – October 8-14

A selection of the most relevant news of the real estate market of the Republic of Turkey is in our weekly digest.

 

We will be the first to mention two information guides concerning ratings and statistics: analysts have estimated that almost 25 million units of real estate were sold in Turkey in the first three quarters of 2022. 

 

It also became known that during the observation period, Turkish contractors implemented $87 billion worth of projects abroad; if not for the pandemic, this figure could presumably come close to $100 billion.

 

There is detailed information about several iconic residential complexes in interesting locations for the market at once. One of them is the unique Dia Centro Topkapı in the very «heart» of Istanbul, near the famous Topkapi. The second is in Izmir, where 524 residences will appear at once within the luxury residential complex. Well, in the «favorite» of tourists Bodrum, in CASAFABAY, 117 modern villas are planned. 

 

We are also pleased with the news in the field of transport and social infrastructure. So, the metro to the New Istanbul Airport will definitely open in November. Very soon, three additional airports will appear on the territory of the country at once, in large cities. 

 

Well, a specialized «Dog Park» has opened in Alanya, to the delight of tourists, locals and, of course, street dogs themselves. Dogs are now even more provided with food, water and the necessary treatment.
