The first week of the new year, 2023, was "marked" mainly by statistical news. Although the topic of investments of foreign citizens in the real estate sector of Turkey - and the volume of investments - remain on the agenda among the key topics.

On average, about 1.4 million units of residential real estate are sold annually in the Republic of Turkey; of these, the share of foreign buyers has already exceeded 5% - an unprecedented indicator.
The hotel industry is gradually making up for the damage caused by the pandemic and the subsequent economic crisis: three Turkish hotels were included in the TOP 10 best hotels in the world at once.
Well, the new Istanbul Airport, which "replaced" Ataturk Airport, continues to set one record after another: last year it became the leading air hub in Europe in terms of the number of flights received and dispatched.
