The tender for the construction of a new building of the municipality of Alanya (Antalya province) will be held just a few days ago: June 12, 2023. The city is growing, the population is increasing, and the building, which is currently occupied by the local municipality, is no longer coping with its "duties" to the proper extent; therefore, there is a need for a new "house" for the city's leadership - a more spacious and modern one.
The design project has been developed and has already been approved; the place has also been chosen - a plot in the Alani district of Oba has been chosen.
According to the project, the building will be four-storied (four floors plus a basement, which is not taken into account in Turkey). The area will be 10,750 sq.m. Two entrances are planned at once in the municipality building - from the east and west. Well, the ground floor will also perform the "duties" of a covered parking lot.
The transport and social infrastructure of Alanya is rapidly developing, and on all fronts: Gazipasha International Airport, which became international not so long ago, is gaining momentum - passenger traffic in it has grown significantly. By the beginning of the last academic year, a new dormitory was built at the local university, equal in comfort to a good hotel; and now work is underway to ensure that the same university - Alaaddin Keykubatuniversitesi - after equipping its own solar power plant on its territory, supplies electricity not only to itself, but also to residents of neighboring districts.
Also, by the beginning of the summer season, a dog walking park in Mahmutlar managed to open.
