The long-awaited metro station at the New Airport (which replaced Ataturk Airport) will open in the next one and a half to two months. Namely, until the end of November 2022. This was told by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Kara Ismail oglu.
Recall that the New Airport has already become a record holder in a number of parameters since its opening and has won a whole series of prestigious awards. For example, from September 19 to 26, the largest number of flights in Europe were carried out from this air hub. And the New Airport has been awarded the title of 5* stars by Skytrax.
A little earlier, a metro station was opened at another Istanbul airport, but already on the Asian side (Sabiha Gokcen).
