The cultural center in Mahmutlar is ready for 60%

The construction of a cultural center in Alani of Mahmutlar (Antalya province) is gradually nearing completion. At the moment, 60% is already ready. The foundation was laid a year ago.

Mahmutlar is one of the largest and, perhaps, the most "Russian-speaking" area of the resort city of Alanya. The planned cultural center is undoubtedly a megaproject. The building area is 11,740 square meters. There will be a multifunctional hall for 1,200 people, a conference and theater hall with 550 seats, a wedding hall with a capacity of up to 100 visitors. A spacious foyer with an area of 370 sq.m. can also be used for events.

There will also be a wedding hall for 100 people, a library with an area of 165 square meters, 24 classrooms at once (there are plans to conduct many educational courses), a gym. There are also related facilities: parking for 120 cars, a kitchen, rooms for teachers, several office rooms, a prayer room, a room for newlyweds, a hall with a projector, technical rooms.

An outdoor area with a roof area of 1000 sq.m. is organized outside for weddings and other special events.

The Mayor of Alanya, Adem Murat Yudzhel, stressed that a lot of immigrants have come to Mahmutlar, and the process of increasing the local population at the expense of newcomers continues. Therefore, the district is in dire need of such "social" venues for weddings, events, etc. The Mayor assured that the municipality will try to complete the project as soon as possible.

In Alanya, a lot of progressive things have been implemented recently: a private solar power plant at a local university, a park "with all amenities" for walking animals, and so on.
