Halkbank sells cheap real estate in Ankara and Istanbul

An auction for the sale of housing at discounted prices in the capital Ankara and the largest metropolis of the country Istanbul was announced by a large financial organization, Halkbank. And not just at reduced prices, but almost at ridiculous prices: from 220,000 Turkish lira (TL) in total.

This is explained by the fact that Halkbank decided to get rid of the collateral real estate that the bank inherited from customers. Those who could not pay off the debt and had to say goodbye to the apartments purchased with a mortgage. It makes no sense to keep it on balance in the current situation, which is why Halkbank is selling them.

There are few residences: four in Ankara and three in Istanbul.

In the capital, this is a 95-meter apartment in Elmadag at a price of 420 thousand TL, a 136-meter apartment in Yenimahalla (2.1 million TL), and two – 120 and 127 meters - in Beipazary, for less than a quarter of a million: 222,000 and 245,000 TL.

In Istanbul, you can have time to buy a residence with an area of 720 square meters in Beykoz (the starting price is 4,575 million TL), a 157–meter-high one in Kucukcekmedge (put up for sale for 1 million TL with a little), and a 78–meter-high one in Buyukcekmedge (the declared cost is 1.1 million TL).

Recall that rental housing in popular areas of the metropolis reaches 19,000 TL.

The city is growing rapidly and a building is being completed here, which will become the tallest in Europe.
