Gazipasha International Airport, which became not so long ago near the resort town of Alanya, which partially unloaded the Antalya air harbor from flights from other countries, is now being expanded.
Since the airport is more and more in demand - literally every month, they recently announced future direct flights to Gazipasha even from Kaliningrad - the air hub will have to increase capacity.
As a result, the terminal areas will be increased here, the runway will be expanded; some more work is planned, which should be completed by spring - by the start of the new tourist season.
So, in the near future we will be able to wait for pleasant news about the expansion of the flight program from the Russian Federation and, along the way, about reducing the duration of the transfer to Alanya hotels: after all, flights arriving in Antalya take tourists to hotels in Alanya only three hours later. With the arrival in Gazipasha (now tour operators have such flights, but there are few of them, and they all make the trip much more expensive), the situation will be simplified.
Over the past months, important news about Turkish airports have been appearing one after another. Firstly, three more air hubs are expected to open soon.
The metro to Istanbul's largest airport - a new Airport that breaks one record after another - is promised to be finally held and opened this month, in December 2022.
Well, the line to the airport on the Asian coast - Sabiha Gokcen - has been successfully operating since the beginning of autumn.
