The range of rental housing in Ankara has decreased by almost a third

The February events related to the tremors caused a lot of activity in the real estate market. In fact, by "shaking it up". In particular, there has been a strong increase in demand in the market, which the available housing stock is simply not able to satisfy.

And this primarily concerns the rental segment: according to the Endeksa real estate portal, while in the provinces of Ankara, Antalya, Mugla, Mersin, Kayseri and Elazig, the number of lots for sale is increasing, the range of removable residences is decreasing. And in provinces with more affordable prices for rental apartments, the housing stock is generally depleted very quickly.

Ankara is an example of this: the Turkish capital has become one of the cities where especially many earthquake victims have moved. As a result, Endeksa clarifies, the rental housing fund in Ankara in February - actually for a month - decreased by 31%. On the other hand, the volume of housing put up for sale increased by 23%.
