Turkish realtors said that in less than three weeks since the announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation, such a flood of immigrants poured into the country that in the most popular province of Antalya, first of all in its capital (the city of the same name) there were no places in apartment hotels for rent at all: neither for tourists nor for who. There are practically no vacant apartments.
Ukrainians also «contributed» to this phenomenon, because starting from the end of February 2022, not only citizens of the Russian Federation arrive in Turkey en masse. The country even had to launch social adaptation courses for immigrants.
So, in Antalya, overpopulation of districts is recorded; however, this also affected a number of other provinces. But the cities of Antalya and Alanya especially got it.
This partly contributed to the fact that the authorities decided to stop issuing a residence permit (residence permit) also in some popular areas, including in the territory of Antalya province.
The newly introduced restrictions affected the districts of Persimmon, Sarysu and Liman (Konyaalti district), which are in demand among the Russian-speaking population: a lot of our compatriots used to live there, and now their number has almost doubled.
Earlier we wrote that citizens of the Russian Federation and Iran buy the most housing in Antalya.
