Some properties in Alanya (Antalya) will be powered by natural gas through a gas pipeline. It is expected that the new mayor in Alanya who has been elected recently will help speed up the projects in the city. The project has until recently been overseen by former mayor Adem Murat Yücel, who announced that an important stage of laying a gas pipeline had been completed in Çıplaklı.
So, Alanya will be connected to natural gas in the Oba, Çıplaklı and Cikcilli districts.
A good deal of work has been done, starting with obtaining a natural gas license by the decision of both municipalities — Antalya and Alanya. Natural gas will reach a minimum of 3,000 apartments and 7,500 residences in 2024.
The resort town of Alanya is steadily becoming an increasingly attractive place for year-round living. This city is home to numerous new children's parks and libraries (including the House of Fairy Tales) are constantly being built here, and a huge sports complex is underway.
