Antalya Airport handled 0.2 million passengers per day

Antalya Airport, which is being actively expanded and modernized, has set another record. On July 31, 2022, the media reported that on the eve of the air hub, 1069 aircraft «passed» through itself during the day. The previous record was also marked in July of this year, when about 1030 boards arrived or flew during the day; a little earlier - on the first day of the long summer holidays (more than a thousand boards were recorded).

And since the beginning of the pandemic, the highest indicator has been reached in terms of the number of passengers passed through the airport per day. Of the 1,069 aircraft that were serviced on July 30, 113 flights turned out to be domestic and 956 – international, passenger traffic for the day amounted to almost 0.2 million: more than 194 thousand people. 18,569 are on domestic lines and 175,619 are on international ones; a total of 194,188 travelers.

Earlier we talked about the fact that the Russian airline Aeroflot simplified transportation to the Aegean coast.
